Series - What Grew in Bruce's Garden?

Often, the things that give us a reason to pause and smile are around us if only we knew to recognize them. My brother-in-law, Bruce, who is an avid gardener, pulled out these "creatures" from his backyard garden. Amused by their uniqueness Bruce wondered if they had purpose other than human consumption.
